Located in Ontario, Canada Black Goat Farm and Sanctuary is on a 10 acre farm between Hamilton, Smithville, and Grimsby. They run a small scale farm animal sanctuary helping injured, orphaned and abused farm animals. They currently house goats, turkeys, chickens, ducks, guinea hens, pigs, sheep and cattle, each and every one with their own name and story. Alongside the Sanctuary, they have a large vegetable garden growing all natural, pesticide free produce. A portion of all produce sales goes directly back to the Sanctuary. Their mission is to raise awareness on how livestock are treated as a whole across this country. They want everyone to see them as they do – intelligent, caring, individual, and sentient.
