Henry's Tempeh was founded in 2002, after Henry Schmidt moved Kitchener-Waterloo after helping his daughter open her own tempeh business on Salt Spring Island. Made using rhizopus oligosporus as a starter culture, this naturally fermented food is a gut-friendly food that's a great addition to any vegan diet.
Paired with the herbaceous sweetness of basil, this organic tempeh is certain to add flair to your next Italian night! This delicate combination is the perfect addition to a pesto and chickpea pasta or atop your next spaghetti bolognese.
