The items listed online generally reflects what is in-store at our Chinatown shop. Please note that our Surrey store is smaller and has a smaller selection and quantites but also has some unique items as well!
We are sorry it is currently out of stock! Our products are sourced from a wide range of distributors across Canada, the US and beyond which allow us to offer a wide range of unique products. Please check back soon or use our Back In Stock Notification feature which can be found on any item that is sold out, just watch for the tab on the right side of the page.
We ship nearly anywhere across Canada and around the world! You can get a quick and easy shipping estimate straight from the Cart page. After adding an item or two, simply enter your postal code and you will get rates from Canada Post and UPS. Shipping times will be listed on the Checkout page (you can continue shopping after viewing the Checkout page as well).
If you're in the Vancouver area, we also offer a few free Pick-Up locations (see below). Also note, we often reuse boxes and packing materials when shipping to minimize our impact.

Always include Cold Packs if shipping refrigerated / frozen items. Your package spends almost no time outdoors and is in delivery vehicles and warehouses. Plus, there may be delays, so always include Cold Packs to prevent thawing and/or spoilage during transit.
We try our best to ship orders as quickly as we can and in many cases, it leaves the same day via Canada Post or UPS! We can not promise this every time and due to various circumstances, from distributor shortages to overall shipping volume or holidays, there may be delays. Also, be aware that 'International Surface' deliveries can take some time, from 4-12 weeks and has no tracking.
We ship refrigerated orders on Monday and Tuesday with some exceptions for Wednesday. Please view our Cold Shipping Guide for specific details. When in doubt, contact us!
We offer a few flat-rate shipping options which are detailed below.
Greater Vancouver
We offer a flat shipping rate of $10 for Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Chilliwack. Orders with cold items will be shipped Monday through Wednesday via Canada Post, FedEx or UPS at our discretion. Please be sure to add Cold Packs for refrigerated orders! (Note: some size/weight restrictions apply.)
Greater Victoria
We offer a flat shipping rate of $12 for much of the Greater Victoria area (currently excludes North Saanich, Sidney, Sooke & Metchosin). Order with cold items will be shipped Monday through Wednesday via Canada Post or UPS. Please be sure to add Cold Packs for refrigerated orders! (Note: some size/weight restrictions apply.)
This is a new (as of April 9th) in-house delivery service! It’s $20, orders must be placed by 10am (after 10am will be next day). 7 days a week. Applies only to orders under 22kg. (This option will not appear under Shipping Options if an order is over 22kg. Please select another shipping option!) Cold Packs are still required, as orders are packed early, and may not be delivered until much later in the day.
Included communities: West Vancouver, North Vancouver, UBC, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam (west side of the river), Port Coquitlam, Richmond, New Westminster, Delta, Surrey and White Rock.
Does NOT include: Squamish, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack and more distant communities.
We currently offer three locations where you can pick up your purchase free of charge. No Cold Packs are required but please review the details below.
In-Store Pick Up at our Chinatown Location (250 East Pender Street between Main & Gore).
We offer online order pick-ups typically a few hours after the order is placed provided it is placed during business hours. Times may vary depending on how busy the store is. Please wait for a confirmation email to notify you that your order is ready for pick up. You do not have to pick up that day although we prefer packages are picked up promptly. (Items are kept refrigerated or frozen.)
In-Store Pick Up at our South Surrey Location (202-14016 32 Avenue at Elgin Corners)
Drop-off date is Wednesday afternoon each week (sometimes may be end of the day Wednesday). Order must be placed by the end of Tuesday to pick up the following Wednesday (or after). You will get a separate confirmation email with instructions when it is ready for pickup. (Items are kept refrigerated or frozen, no Cold Packs required.)
Please await your pick-up confirmation email. If you haven't heard back by the following Thursday at 11am, please check your Junk folder. Please do not phone the Surrey store with questions, instead reply to your Shipping Confirmation email if you have any further questions.
Pick Up at Meet in Yaletown Restaurant (1165 Mainland Street which is across from Yaletown Skytrain Station)
Drop-off date is Friday afternoon each week. Order by the end of Thursday to pick up the following Friday (or after at your convenience). You will get a separate confirmation email with instructions when it is ready for pickup. You do not have to pick up that day, although we prefer packages are picked up promptly. A prompt pick-up is ideal as MeeT only has refrigerated storage so frozen items will begin to thaw and storage space is limited.
ALL PICK-UP ORDERS: If you choose a Pick-Up option, we will send you a separate note with individualized pick-up instructions. If you have any questions about your pick-up, please reply to your Vegan Supply email rather than contact the independent pick-up locations, thank you!
Not a problem! Just place the order as you would for yourself and include a note (or send a separate note) letting us know who to expect for your pick-up. Please have the Order # handy to make the pick-up process seamless.
Welcome to our online shop! There are three main aspects to shopping on this website:

The first is most obvious, you can find our newest products on the main page, or browse the categories, or use our search.
If you see an item you're interested in, you can click through to view more details, including a short product write-up and ingredients.
If you'd like to make that item part of your order, click the Add To Cart button, and it's added to your virtual shopping cart!
Once you have a few items, you can head to the Cart page, the link for this is near the top left, below our logo.
On the Cart page, you can review your selections, and get a shipping estimate by entering your postal code. You can continue to shop, or if you're ready, you can proceed to the Checkout!
Once you select the 'Accept' button (if needed add Cold Packs and review our Cold Shipping Guide first!), you're on your way to the Checkout. Here you enter your shipping details, make your shipping selection, and when ready, enter your payment details to complete your transaction - we accept VISA, Mastercard and Paypal.
If you're all set, you can complete the payment and finish your order, or if you wish to continue shopping, just click on the graphic at the top of the page to return to the main site.
Once your order is completed, you should see an Order Confirmation email moments later. Depending on the day of the week and items ordered, when your order is packed up and ready to go you will get a final Shipping Confirmation email, and it should have your tracking info as well. (If you've selected In-Store Pick-Up, you'll get a note confirming when it's ready for pick-up.)

Our very 'Newest Items' are the ones listed on our main page and this is updated regularly whenever new products come in. Click here to browse our entire catalogue sorted by the most recent additions. Also, if you join our email list, we will keep you posted every couple weeks. Subscribing to our newsletter is easy and can be found near the bottom of the left menu.
It might be a bit overwhelming as there are a lot of options for browsing, and it's tricky listing upwards of 3,000 different items! We recommend clicking on each major category (Meat & Dairy Alternatives, Pantry, Sweets & Snacks, etc..) and at the top of the sub-menu is a 'Browse All' option. Select that for each and you'll get a more manageable list of products from each category.
There are a small range of items that are always exempt from discount codes. These items include: Gift Cards, Appliances, Cold Packs, and Items on Sale such as Clearance or Hot Deals as they are already discounted.
Yes we do, see the top of our menu! Send us a note if you would like a physical copy of your gift card, otherwise, we will assume you are interested in an electronic version which will be emailed to you after you place the order. Physical cards can be purchased in our retail shop and can be used on our online store or in our Vancouver Chinatown shop.
We have 'tags' on each product which is found below the Ingredients. One of those tags is Gluten-Free and you can browse many of our GF items this way (click here to see). Currently, this is more of a list of 'intentionally GF' items as many are also unintentionally GF, like chocolate, so they don't appear in this list. Our long-term strategy is to make it easier to find all GF items and perhaps 'flag off' all gluten items.
Orders are processed in Canadian dollars. This may actually be to your advantage - visit XE.com currency converter to see what current rates are and how far your dollar goes today! You can also choose US, Euro and UK dollars from the pull-down near the top left corner. Note: there may be currency exchange premiums on non-Canadian cards, check with your credit card company to see what these rates might be.
After your first order you can create an account with us. It will save your mailing details but not your credit card information. This is not required but it will allow for a faster check-out process. Alternatively, you can go straight to the check-out page to complete your purchase.
All transactions are processed through Shopify. The methods of payment we accept are VISA, Mastercard and PayPal.
Some items have warning labels like 'May Contain Traces of Dairy'. These refer to traces of an allergen, the residue of which may remain as a contaminant on production machinery between batches. For example: A chocolate factory where they produce dairy and dark chocolate. These items are still considered vegan by most (including vegan certification organizations like The Vegan Society and Vegan.org), as they're not intentionally added to the product, and are usually in very trace amounts (if at all) which could be of concern for people with specific allergies, but not actually intended for the final product.
Here at Vegan Supply we are unabashedly vegan and we're exploring the idea of challenging the ownership of 'meat'.
Consider: the meat of an apple or nut - it's tricky when you get to the meat of the matter! Another example is Field Roast, who were temporarily banned by the Canadian government partly for using the term 'Grain Meat' to describe their product. We do not believe anyone has ownership of the term 'meat', and for the sake of simplicity it would be nice to simply offer 'meats' without prefixes or other context. A veggie meat is still 'meat', and on a vegan site, they're all 'veggie meats', so why all the extra terminology? It might be helpful in a grocery store that carries animal products, but here we hope you enjoy our meats without worry.
