Meet our Donation Recipients for the month of May!

Lily’s Place is a small, volunteer-based, vegan-run sanctuary providing lifelong care to aging and displaced farm animals with permanent injuries, behavioural challenges, or serious medical needs that make adoption impossible. Occasionally, animals in crisis find temporary refuge here, receiving love and healing before moving on to carefully screened forever homes. Piece of Heaven Project (PHOP) is a heart-led sanctuary devoted to healing, education, and compassion for both animals and humans. Since 2015, they’ve created a safe haven free from cruelty and exploitation, while inspiring a more compassionate, sustainable way of living rooted in the vegan philosophy. Through their three-stage mission—Sanctuary, Educate, and Retreat—they offer refuge, advocacy, and immersive experiences that nurture transformation in how we treat ourselves, each other, and the planet.
