Sweet Bee’s Small Pet Connect
Sweet Bee’s Small Pet Connect is a small, community-focused rescue group operating in Vancouver and Lower Mainland in BC, dedicated primarily to helping small animals like guinea pigs and rabbits through rescue, fostering, and rehoming efforts. They coordinate the intake of surrendered pets, often working alongside local shelters, while relying on a network of foster homes, to whom they provide supplies to ensure animals are cared for in safe, temporary environments. They also advocate for abandoned animals, particularly rabbits, and collaborate with community tracking efforts and platforms to report sightings and support recovery. In addition, they are active in local communities, helping reunite lost pets with owners and facilitating adoptions, making them an important grassroots support system for small animal welfare in the region. Black Sheep Retreat Sanctuary
Black Sheep Retreat Sanctuary is single handedly run by one woman who offers a quality care sanctuary near Cancun that is currently home to over 40 rescued animals, each one getting individual attention and care, allowing their personalities to really open up and shine through. With only 11 farm animal sanctuaries in the entire Country of Mexico, Black Sheep Retreat aims to give a much needed home to an array of species rescued from slaughter or abusive and exploitative situations.
