VOKRA
Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association is a volunteer-driven, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and orphaned cats throughout Metro Vancouver. With a network of foster homes and a strong community focus, VOKRA provides critical care to some of the region’s most vulnerable animals. They are currently experiencing a significant spike in rescues, placing increased strain on their Emergency Kitten Medical Fund. Founded in honour of Pumpkin, a rescued rabbit who survived abandonment and cruelty before finally experiencing love and safety, Pumpkin’s Acres is a Niagara-based rabbit rescue dedicated to saving neglected, abandoned, and unwanted rabbits while educating the public on proper rabbit care and compassionate treatment. .
