Please meet our wonderful November Donation Recipients!

The Fur-Bearers
Founded in 1953, The Fur-Bearers is a non-partisan, registered Canadian charity that protects fur-bearing animals through conservation, advocacy, research, and education. Their campaigns address issues such as commercial and recreational trapping, the Canadian fur farm industry, and government policy that puts wildlife at risk. They provide solutions to protect wildlife and mitigate negative encounters in urban areas and offer free educational resources to communities across Canada. and use the legal system to challenge the status quo treatment of animals. Your gift will help them continue the incredibly important work they do to protect vulnerable wildlife! To learn more please visit https://TheFurBearers.com.

VHS & The Happy Herd Each year, the Vancouver Humane Society and The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary come together for a special Giving Tuesday campaign, uniting to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals in need. Every donation made during this campaign is shared equally between the two organizations, ensuring that your gift has a powerful impact on multiple fronts. Your contribution will help provide nourishing food, vital medical care, and safe shelter for the rescued animals living at the Happy Herd. At the same time, it will support the Vancouver Humane Society’s ongoing work to protect and advocate for animals through emergency veterinary assistance, public education, and the promotion of compassionate, plant-based living. Your gift will make a lasting difference for those who cannot speak for themselves. To learn more please visit: https://vancouverhumanesociety.bc.ca/ & https://www.happyherd.org/

On behalf of the animals that your gifts support, we thank you!
