Pulse Kitchen was established in June, 2016 in Penticton, BC. We produce specialty food products that are 100% plant based vegan and gluten-free. All of our products contain some form of pulses (dried beans, lentils, peas). Pulses are high in protein and fiber and very low on the Glycemic Index. When grown, pulses leave soil nitrogen enriched, thereby reducing the need for fertilizers in farming. The UN has declared 2016 as the International Year of Pulses to promote pulses as a primary source of protein and other essential nutrients as well as increase awareness of pulses' environmental and sustainability benefits.
