Farm Animal Rescue and Rehoming Movement (FARRM) is an animal sanctuary near Wetaskiwin, AB, operating under values affirmed in a vegan lifestyle, with facilities for surrendered and abused farm animals. FARRM started as an initiative to help the growing number of abandoned potbelly pigs, ran a support network for these homeless & abused animals, and after great success with that initiative (and with over 100 potbelly pigs rescued and rehomed in under a year), the movement continued to expand and FARRM was officially created. FARRM expands their reach to not only potbelly pigs, but also to other farm type animals that find themselves victims of the fad pet mentality, or those that are valued only for the price of their flesh. Most FARRM residents have endured traumatic life experiences or have significant behavioural and/or medical needs. FARRM is committed to ensuring sanctuary residents live happy, healthy lives. Sponsorship or donation is one of the best ways to support FARRM, as it helps ensure that they have consistent financial resources to care for the animals. Free Spirit Sanctuary is a vegan sanctuary that is a place of healing, peace, and freedom for domestic and wild horses, donkeys, and farmed animals who have been rescued from abuse, neglect, slaughter, or have special needs. The animals have a forever home at FSS where they are free to simply be themselves while being safe and cared for. Healing equine trauma through facilitating recovery needs of horses, advocating for the protection of the freedom of Alberta's Wild Horses, ending horse slaughter in Canada, and offering peace and freedom for all sentient beings are at the core of FSS philosophies. Your donation will aid in the continuation of the care, aid, and rescue efforts that Free Spirit Sanctuary does. To learn more please visit: https://www.freespiritsanctuary.ca/fss
